Does carmex lip chap take out the natural lip softening oils?

My sister told me that i shouldn't use carmex because it takes away from your lips the natural oil that softens your lips. And i didn't know if she was right or not. But it makes sense because carmex is pretty addictive and you have to apply it a lot.Does carmex lip chap take out the natural lip softening oils?
I love Carmex. It is fabulous and it's the camphor you find addicting. That oh so cold sensation after you put it on.Does carmex lip chap take out the natural lip softening oils?
yall stop playin an just use strawberry lipgloss geesh...

lol

i am a lipgloss addict... i will never recover.

try ANY Loreal lipgloss.. they have the best natural an long lasting lip moisture even after it's rubbed off...
Carmex has an acid that makes your lips drier. You can read the ingredients and see. It was developed for cold sores to dry them out quicker, people just started using it for their lips. I do not use it anymore and use chapstick or something moisturizing.
what never heard such a thang Ive used it for years and my lips are fine
No, Carmex will not do that to you're lips. However, if you find yourself licking off the carmex, you might also be licking off your skin's oil, resulting in even more chapped lips. If that's the case, switch to something that does not appeal to you scentwise. Vaseline will moisturize, but it will not have the menthol that makes your lips tingle (which is why I find carmex so appealing).
Yes. Carmex is made in my hometown of Franklin, Wisconsin. Indeed it does. Camphor is a substance which dries out cold sores on and around the lip area. so, imagine how addictive and drying it is to your lips. And yes, addictive.
