Does anyody know any recipes for something that makes your lips soft? Thanks so Muchh!!!

no dont use carmex when i was little tell i was in 8th grade my lip had a big cut in them and when i used carmex it worked for a week or 2 then my lips got worse so my mom gave my berts bees and then after we put vaseline on my lips now the smooth as thay can beSofter lips? Carmex?
I leave Carmex on overnight. It works better than anything else I've ever used.

YESSSS Carmex is awsome, here are the positives to is:


- inexpensive


- mosturizes very well


- gives your lips a great shine


I would definatly suggest that you use it
i don't know of anything homemade, but if you're looking for something completely natural and which does an awesome job of moisturizing and softening lips, i'll have to say: John Masters Lip Calm! ingredients below:





Organic olive oil,* organic beeswax,* organic avocado oil,* shea butter, jojoba oil,* kukui oil,* wheatgerm, vitamins A, C %26amp; E, essential oils of organic vanilla, lime, tangerine and ylang ylang
I hate carmex because it tastes bad and after it dries up on your lips it makes it feel really dry. Try Neutrogena Lip Moisturizer SPF 15 or Aveeno Lip Conditioner, Essential Moisture SPF 15. They both work great. Also try exfoliating your lips first with a face scrub then apply the lip moisturizer. You lips will definately feel softer.
carmex is best if you put it on before going to bed and after brushing your teeth. And yes, it is fantastic stuff.





For day, I use a tinted Burt's Bees product instead of stick or gloss. It's as good as Chapstick and looks a lot prettier.
yea carmex rocks!! and i take Vaseline and i put it on my lips then i rub gently in circles with an old toothbrush. this gets rid of the flaky skin. then i make sure to put on chap stick every night before i go to bed!
Carmex is good. When my lips are really in bad shape %26amp; split the best thing is Blistex ointment (comes in the tube). The ointment is nice and smooth %26amp; slightly medicated and heals chapped lips %26amp; little blisters.
vaseline is awesome
i use vaseline.


what u do is put vaselin on your lips and wait 3-5 minutes. then wet and old toothbrush and brush your lips ( it sound weird but it works very well ) then wash the vaseline off.

















for best results i do this WHOLE process 2x

I have Burt's Bees and I love it! Otherwise, use Chapstick (the Chapstick brand) instead of Carmex. Carmex feels like it may moisten your lips, but it makes them more chapped (from my experience). Otherwise, find a lip gloss that helps moisturize also.

using carmex is defeating the purpose because it has camphor in it, which will dry it out. i would use a triple antibiotic like neosporin.

wash with non scented antibac. soap rinse mouth out with listerine. Don't pick at the blisters.. and you can try abreva it's a over the counter med.
It is most likely a form of herpes, try herpecin or lysine (sp?) or denavir from your doc.

Time is all that will cure this. Try taking some pain relieving medicine like Tylenol or Ibuprofen. Keep applying ice.


You should also try eating pureed or pudding consistency foods until your lip feels better. (Popsicles %26amp; yogurt)

Myass, i try to avoid things that chap myass and the residual Carmex seems to provide a protective barrier. My lawyer could care less if I talk about this.
Kleenex would be the preferable choice, but covertly patting someone on the back seems to work too.
My lawyer told me not to answer this as it would have a direct bearing on my impending trial. :)
I don't use carmex for this reason..

i have really chapped lips and every 4 or 5 days i have to peel it off because they're dead skin. what should i use to stop it from dying? and someone told me that carmex makes your lips bigger. is hat true?Does carmex make your lips bigger?

i suggest lip gloss, its pretty lol and it will make ur lips less chapped. i didn't wear lip gloss for a long while and my lips got chapped. id also suggest cool reflections lip moisturizer and blistex.





carmex is good for ur lips too. but i wouldn't suggest it. if u accidentally get in ur mouth IT TASTES HORRIBLE lol. and it comes off very easily. it moist but i wouldn't suggest it

No, just makes them look bigger, Vaseline works just aswell
only if u r allergic to carmex it might cause it to swell...but otherwise nuthin should happen

Carmex will moisturize them. Try wearing it when you go to bed, and they will be smoother when you wake up.


In a week, they will be completely healed.





Another problem is, that you keep peeling them.


STOP THAT !


That will make them continue to be rough and dry.


They will never heal if you continue to peel.


MOISTURIZE THEM INSTEAD.





And no, Carmex won't make them any bigger than they already are. Are they big?
